Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wife passed away early last December , after a long two year battle with Cancer.

She spent the last few weeks of her life in St. Elizabeth’s Hospice, in Ipswich. Here she was given excellent care, by the whole of the hospice staff, what a great job they do! Here they make everyone special, nothing is ever too much trouble. The care Diane received from the volunteers the hospice staff, the nurses, the Doctors from the first day she arrived, to her last was first class. Help me so this may continue for others in the future.

St. Elizabeth’s is only partially funded by the government, the rest of the income is from donations, so along with a lot of my family and Diane’s best friends, we as “Team Dot’s “ are taking part in this years “10 mile Midnight Walk” to help raise funds, to allow the hospice to continue its great work!

On Easter Sunday, I returned to the hospice to make a personal donation, I was greeted by the one of the volunteers at the reception desk as an old friend, I meet with the same Doctor, and nursing staff that had looked after Diane, still working hard making the lives of other patients better.

All hospices need our help and support, because they are there to help and support us should we ever need it!

Please make a donation however much or small, it all helps us to help them! as a tax payer don’t forget to tick the gift aid box.
